The Makita BL1830B 18V 3.0Ah Li-ion battery is lightweight and shock-absorbing + has Integrated L.E.D. battery charge level indicator lights which allow the user to monitor the battery charge level.
Makita batteries have STAR Protection built in which is the communication technology between the tool and the battery to monitor the conditions and exchange data in real time to protect against overloading, over-discharging or over-heating
The Makita BL1830B 3.0 a/h Li-ion Battery has a charge time of only 22 x minutes when using the Makita DC18RA, DC18RC or DC18RD Battery Chargers.
The Makita Li-ion range delivers 430% more working capacity during its lifetime compared to Ni-Cad and is 40% Lighter than Ni-MH batteries. Li-ion batteries have minimal depletion of power during use or in storage over its lifetime.
Compatible with the huge Makita LXT range of power tools.
With the BL1830B battery being Lithium-ion it has no memory effect and is much lighter than other battery chemistries.
