Parrot AR Drone 2.0 1500mah Replacement LiPo Battery
This high density Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 lithium polymer battery has 3 cells, with a capacity of 1500mAh at 11.1 volts, to provide a 50% longer flight time, compared with the standard 1000mAh battery, at the same size and weight.
It includes a protection circuit module to prevent the battery from over charging, similarly over discharge and short circuits. The battery comprises a rigid casing and complies with UL2054 safety standards.
The AR.Drone 2.0 Li-Po has two connections, one discharge plug to provide current to the drone, and another integral connector for balanced charging whilst attached directly to the AR.Drone 2.0 charger. The balanced charging facility ensures an optimal charge of each cell to provide a better capacity and longer life.
The AR.Drone should only be operated with the official Parrot battery, as the substitution of an alternative Li-Po cell may cause damage, and invalidate the manufacturer’s warranty. Always look for the Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 logo on the battery to check authenticity.
